Didn't realize that there's a scheduled break this week. Ah nuts, I feel your pain. I'll put the info up now anyhow just so I don't forget.

"Putting Your Hoof Down"

Airs: March 3rd, 2012

Directed By: James 'Wootie' Wooton

Storyboarded by (Senior/Junior): Joel Dickie & Emmett Hall

Official (?) Synopsis:

"When Fluttershy becomes tired of being pushed around for too long, she decides to seek some assertiveness training from self-help guru Iron Will.  With the help of her new teacher, she quickly transforms her unsure ways."

Yay! Finally a Fluttershy episode! ...Which a lot of you have been waiting patiently for. I have to say she's becoming one of my favorite characters on this show.

Excelent episode. Some people are complaining that some of the dialogues and situations has becoming too harsh but personally i believe in something that Lauren Faust said when beginning the show: I don't want to show endless tea parties and problems getting solved just by tears.

I think all of you are making a nice work, an excelent and beautiful show, proving that "family friendly TV" doesn't mean "boring and cuddy"

And give something to talk about with my niece

They can be harsh. But you and Lauren are right. Life isn't all tea-parties.. it too, is harsh. Helping people navigate around other people with bad attitudes isn't really a bad thing, is it?

I will pass along your thanks. Everyone here tries their hardest to make the show as natural and funny and emotive as possible. Sometimes hard with our limited time-frames. :)

I SWEAR IRON WILL'S VOICE IS FAMILIAR!

It wouldn't happen to be the same guy who voiced the judge on Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Sgt. Dog on Chowder.... would it?

I think Iron Will is voiced by the guy who voiced Hercule in Dragon Ball Z.

I'm not sure about that! I don't get to mingle with the voice cast on this show too much. I would bet though that he's probably worked in other cartoons. :)

I can tell you this: They don't have as much overlap as you think.

I'm really loving your storyboard artist credits! They added a "storyboard" field to the episode infoboxes over on mlp.wikia.com because of this! Unfortunately, there are still a lot of episodes that we don't know the storyboarders of. Any plans to publish a full list of who the senior/junior teams were on each episode going back to season 1?
